ti2b®: a new generation of structured cages

Quality with laser precision

The innovative ti2b® cages (ti2b = titanium to bone) are manufactured using the selective laser melting (SLM) technique. This special manufacturing procedure opens up a new range of possibilities for implant designs and implant properties. It ensures that the implant can be further adapted to the anatomical and pathological situations in the intervertebral spaces being treated. The surface structure also offers the best possible conditions for successful osseointegration.

The active ti2b® SLM surface improves the interaction between osteoblasts and protein surfaces compared to standard titanium surfaces and has higher fibronectin adsorption in comparison with milled titanium and other types of surfaces.

Another outstanding feature of ti2b® cages is the grid structure throughout the implant. This structure not only ensures that the implant is extremely stable but it also reduces artefacts when preparing MRI images.

dolfyn® TLIF Cage: Anatomical design for anterior positioning.

The dolfyn® cage is a sterile intervertebral implant that fuses two vertebral bodies as a result of its insertion into the disc space in the lumbar or lumbosacral region. It has an anatomically adapted congruence and is specially designed for the anterior position.

The cage can be used together with a posterior screw and rod system and, if necessary, with an anterior plate as well. It is suitable for autografts / allografts and helps to preserve the vertebral body height of the spinal segment that was operated on and also facilitates osteosynthesis.

The sharx® cage is a sterile intervertebral implant that fuses two vertebral bodies as a result of its insertion into the disc space in the lumbar or lumbosacral region. It has an anatomically shaped surface, a slightly wedged shape and a flattened tip that is adapted to the endplates.

The cage can be used together with a posterior screw and rod system and, if necessary, with an anterior plate as well. It is suitable for autografts / allografts and helps preserve the vertebral body height of the spinal segment that was operated on and also facilitates osteosynthesis.
